Experience the “Heart of San Antonio” with educator and storyteller Bill Perryman. The adventure begins with a motor coach journey to Mission San Jose – a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Queen of the missions, enjoy an engaging tour of San Jose including the sacristy, church, mill and granary. From San Jose we travel northbound to the opulent King William Historic District. Traverse King William Street as Bill brings the rich history of each residence to life with intriguing facts regarding the people who originally occupied the mansions in San Antonio’s first fashionable neighborhood.
The King William walking tour culminates with a delicious luncheon at the new Rosario’s! Relax, and visit with friends and reflect on the morning’s adventures while partaking Rosario’s notable cuisine.
After lunch, reboard the motorcoach for a short ride to San Antonio’s Market Square! The largest Mexican market outside of Mexico, tour guests will have ample time to browse, shop and purchase market selections before returning to the Oasis headquarters to conclude the day!
