Those of us with brothers and sisters can understand the complex relationships we have with our siblings. The Bible gives us more than a few interesting examples to take a detailed look at. Among them are Cain and Abel, Leah and Rachel, Jacob and Esau, Joseph and his 11 brothers and sister Dinah, Goliath and his kingly brothers, David and his unsupportive brothers, Mary, Martha and Lazarus, Simon Peter and Andrew, and Jesus and his brothers and sisters. Even Herod had brothers and sisters. We’ll put on our observer hazard suits and forge into the family muck via a fast-paced PowerPoint presentation.
