This class explores some of the classic tunes that remind us of summer. “Surfin’ USA”, “The Summer Wind”, “Summer of ’69”, “Heat Wave”, “Those Lazy, Hazy, Crazy Days of Summer”, “Summertime” from “Porgy and Bess” and others will be featured with film clips and backstories about the origins of summer music in film and recording.
