Our first stop of the day will be at Hopscotch San Antonio. Hopscotch San Antonio is an immersive and experiential brand that brings together artists in collaborative environments to create unique, impactful, and distinct shared experiences. Art can be a vessel to tell stories and illuminate important messages of the past, present, and future. Hopscotch San Antonio is a uniquely curated and permanent 20,000 square feet gallery that features distinctive immersive and interactive installations. Exhibits are highly immersive and some use strong lighting effects and loud surround sound. Next we will have lunch at Little Red Barn Steak House. After lunch we will visit the Bexar Heritage Center with a docent led tour. All exhibits are designed to engage visitors with Bexar County’s historic treasures and contemporary cultural amenities. Bexar County’s rich history in south central Texas is displayed in multimedia exhibits and interpretive panels from its Spanish colonial origins to a thriving modern day metropolitan region. Cost includes motor coach transportation, lunch, admission fees, and tips.
