San Antonio has long been a crossroads and has attracted visitors from across the state and beyond. This fact led to the development of motels, tourist courts, and a variety of enterprises to serve customers driving to the Alamo City. Sadly, many of these spots have disappeared in the name of progress, but we will remember them via this entertaining slideshow looking back at part of our city’s roadside history.
