Description
This class will examine the history of Halloween traditions in the United States. We will begin by looking at the historical roots of the holiday from its Celtic origins and how it was adapted by medieval Chrisitians. We will then examine how modern Americans adopted the holiday and the ways in which they modified and built upon the older traditions.
