Description
Traditional Jazz was born and incubated in New Orleans. This music quickly spread around the world. The Glad Hatters Jazz Band will play famous traditional jazz tunes with a foreign flavor such as Copenhagen, Hindustan, The Sheik of Araby, and Midnight in Moscow. We’ll hear and learn about foreign traditional jazz band like The Dutch Swing College Band, Kenny Ball (England), The New Orleans Jazz Hounds (Japan), and Gunhild Carling (Sweden), and hear and see performances in foreign lands by traditional jazz greats Kid Ory, Sidney Bechet, and Louis Armstrong.
