Join us for a day exploring three outstanding San Antonio museums. We begin at the newly relocated Institute of Texan Cultures, part of the University of Texas at San Antonio, where exhibits and programs celebrate the diverse people, cultures, and traditions that have shaped Texas. Next, enjoy lunch at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co., inspired by the iconic 1994 film Forrest Gump. After lunch, visit the Briscoe Western Art Museum along the River Walk. Housed in San Antonio’s original public library, the museum showcases Western art and history, with special exhibits including Selena Forever and Tejano Legacy. Our final stop is the San Antonio Museum of Art (SAMA), located in the former Lone Star Brewery. Explore 5,000 years of art from around the world, including one of the South’s finest collections of ancient Greek, Roman, and Egyptian artifacts.Cost includes motor coach transportation, lunch, and tips.
