Founded in 1720 by Father Antonio Margil de Jesus, this fully restored complex offers visitors a visual representation of the complexities of 18th Century mission life in Spanish Texas. Today, our San Antonio Franciscan Missions stand proudly as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Join master teacher, Bill Perryman, for an experiential interactive walking tour of Mission San Jose. Tour begins in front of the Mission San Jose Visitor’s Center at 6701 San Jose Drive. Listen 400 series audio technology will be available for the listening ease of each tour guest.
