From his beginnings, Issur Danielovitch was meant for fame. The son of Russian immigrants, he was to become one of the only survivors of Hollywood's Golden Age. Douglas was more than an explosive actor who appeared in over 90 films. He was a producer, director, author and philanthropist as well.
