Description
This class will explore Bob Dylan’s lyrical genius and the profound influence the bible has on his songwriting poetry and philosophical storytelling. While focusing on the three Christian albums he released in the early “80’s, we will also explore Old testament imagery and moral allegories sprinkled throughout his music. Students will gain a greater appreciation of Dylan’s lifelong dialogue on faith, philosophy and the human experience.
